At Voices of Hope Foundation, under our flagship initiative JuZa (Jumuisha Zanzibar), we are committed to building a just and inclusive society where children and youth with disabilities can thrive. Our values guide every aspect of our work
At Voices of Hope Foundation (VOHF), we use the globally endorsed Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR) model—recommended by WHO, UNESCO, and ILO—as our core approach under the JuZa flagship. This evidence-based model addresses five key areas: Health, Education, Livelihood, Social Inclusion, and Empowerment. It enables us to dismantle systemic barriers by promoting early disability screening, inclusive education, economic opportunities for caregivers, anti-stigma efforts, and youth-led advocacy, driving sustainable, community-led change for children and youth with disabilities across Zanzibar.
